Our Debit Card provider FIS had a power outage on January 15th which affected a number of transactions for a few days. FIS has completed the audit of a portion of Visa® transactions from Jan. 19, 20, and 23. Upon completion of this audit, FIS confirmed there are unposted Visa transactions for the dates of Jan. 19, 20, 21, 22 and a portion of Jan. 23. We will process these transactions on Feb. 4. FIS teams have researched duplicate PIN reversal transactions that occurred on Jan. 17 and Jan. 18 that subsequently posted multiple times on Jan. 24, 25, and 26. For those accounts with net negative transactions, FIS has completed validations and will process reversal transactions Feb. 4, during the normal nightly batch processing.
UPDATE 3/11 – On 2/20 Entries that should have been made were posted as credits twice in error. Then on 2/25, while trying to correct the the 2/20 entries these were duplicated again, with credits twice in error. Then on 3/10 posting files 4 debits were made to correct for the 2 credits on 2/20 and 2 credits on 2/25. This should be the final postings relating to these issues. Again, we apologize for the huge inconvenience this has caused everyone.
